Angelus Press Reviews

Traditional Catholic Focus: Angelus Press is a leading source for Traditional Latin Mass materials, including missals, devotionals, and magazines that cater specifically to Catholics seeking pre-Vatican II liturgical practices.

Quality Publications: The press is recognized for producing well-formatted, durable books with minimal bleed-through and clear spacing, making them practical for both personal and family prayer.

Bilingual Options: Many resources offer both Latin and English texts, accommodating those who prefer to pray in either language.

Customer Service: The company receives praise for its informative and polite customer service, with staff described as knowledgeable and helpful.

Comprehensive Content: Publications like the Roman Catholic Daily Missal are noted for being thorough, containing all necessary content for daily Mass attendance and home devotions.

SSPX Affiliation: Angelus Press is the publishing arm of the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX), a group whose canonical status within the Catholic Church remains irregular. Some Catholics may have reservations about supporting organizations not in full communion with Rome.

Limited Appeal: The focus on traditionalist Catholicism may not appeal to those seeking materials aligned with contemporary Church practices or teachings.

Niche Audience: While highly valued by traditionalists, the offerings might be less relevant or accessible to mainstream or non-traditional Catholics.
